Lance Gedrin is a professional fighter in the ring and an ex-con turned lawyer in the court room when he chooses to be. The Night Contract, a fast paced mystery thriller, by Greg Gountanis presents excellent twists and turns and many jaw dropping revelations. A one sitting reading experience, this hard boiled crime tale moves like a bullet with its crisp writing and compelling characters, but none more compelling than Lance Gedrin who spent12 years in jail for a crime he didn't commit. The lawyer who got him out of jail is missing and a lawyer on the rise is on a mission to send him back to jail. Lance decides to be his own lawyer for the retrial. With this stage set, with the help of new and old friends, he fights for his life. Kudos to Greg Gountanis for this brilliant under dog/ top dog thriller.
