The question and answer section says that this night light comes with a cord, but when it arrived I discovered it is only battery powered. As soon as we took it out of the box, the battery cover fell off and will not stay in place. Then we discovered that the battery that came preinstalled had exploded in the battery compartment as well. Leaving dried battery acid all inside the battery compartment.
